I have been writing stories since I was a little girl, but never thought I would someday become a writer. I wanted to be a singer and an actress. Things change. I still sing, though not professionally.
My sexual fantasy life started very early on. I think I was eight or nine. I used to make my G. I. Joe dolls ravish my Barbies. Don't ask me how I knew about that stuff. It's probably just like animal instinct or something.
I read my first romance novel at age 16, when my mother handed me Shanna by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss and raved, "You have to read this!" We were more like sisters then. I guess that's what happens when you're raised by a single parent. Needless to say, I was hooked. I read everything Woodiwiss ever wrote after that. These days I look back on those books and think how TAME they were.
The first book that ever made me blush was Suddenly You by Lisa Kleypas. It was so detailed in the love scenes! I never knew you could put such descriptions in romance novels. I have read much more erotic books since then. Now I write my own. It is something I have dreamed about for years.
Thanks to Amazon and Smashwords it is so easy to self-publish. I decided if other people could do it, so would I.
