Holy FUCK!

And I thought Richard Chamberlain in The Thorn Birds was a hot priest. Ladies you are gonna melt for Father Tyler Bell. I was fanning myself all through this book.

I stumbled across Priest by Sierra Simone on Facebook and saw that Lauren Blakely called it "Hot. As. Sin." I had just recently discovered Lauren Blakely (check the sidebar for my review of her book, Big Rock) and knew if she thought that, I would love it.

The story is about a young Catholic priest (29) who is very happy in his role, leading a small town congregation and running their church. When a lost woman stumbles into his confessional he is attracted to her immediately. She is not religious, but is searching for answers and direction for her life. Father Bell ignores his better judgement and takes her on as "lamb" to his "shepherd".

Their friendship turns to lust then love, which threatens to destroy Father Bell's tidy little life. Broken vows, guilt and heartache lead Father Bell to an awakening he wasn't expecting.

There is much joy, angst, drama and tons of steamy sex. Sex in very unlikely places, which were made holy thanks to Simone's writing and Father Bell's thoughts. Despite the subject matter, the spiritual aspect of the story was so well done.

Simone's writing was so poetic and beautiful, even while being downright raunchy at times. I was laughing, crying and gasping throughout.

Don't worry, there is a happy ending.  That is a requirement for me.

Seducing Jane Porter by Dominique Adair

Let me start out by saying I'm not a huge fan of BDSM. I don't hate it or anything; I just don't seek it out. Seducing Jane Porter was a book I found online for free when I was searching out some book deals. The synopsis grabbed me plus I always want to expand my erotic-reading horizons.

Seducing Jane Porter is actually book 1 in a series. It's a short story, but it is self-contained. You can stop there, but I did not. I hungrily read all three. You will want to also, I'm sure.

Jane Porter is a successful party planner who has been focused on her business for the past year. A painful breakup has kept her away from men. Now that she is successful she decides to get back into the dating pool. Being a sexual submissive she decides their current weekend sex party is the perfect place to have a fantasy affair. She needs to get her groove back. And at age 36 she knows what she wants...someone to test her sexual boundaries.

Antonio Villareal is a wealthy Spanish vineyard owner, enjoying his 29th birthday at his brother's sex party. He has recently dumped his selfish gold-digging girlfriend and is in search of a good time. When he spots Jane across the room he falls instantly in lust. She's a mature confident woman who looks like she enjoys life. Her easy smile and comfortable laughter make him want to get closer.

When Jane and Antonio meet their chemistry is explosive. Their sex scenes are hot, yet tender. He definitely knows how to treat a lady. When she lets him know she wants to be mastered he gives her what she wants.

In the books that follow, Jane is introduced into a menage relationship with Antonio and his best friend Santos. She loves being worshipped by two men and they love the fact that she is insatiable. Her ex-boyfriend returns and we see her lovers show their possessive and caring nature. These alpha males won't let anyone hurt their "Beauty".

The Jane Porter series was very well written and had a lot of emotion. The characters were likable and believable. The sex scenes were not too repetitive (and there were a lot of them). There was also a secondary romance that was fun. The only problem I had was an overuse of the C-word. I don't care for that word at all. To me it has a negative vibe. But aside from that I loved it and didn't want it to end.

Rocky Mountain Heat by Vivian Arend

This is book 1 of the Six Pack Ranch series, which came out in 2011. You can get the e-book for free! I have found so many great authors thanks to free books! Vivian Arend is my latest discovery.

I love a steamy sexy book. But do you know what I love even more? A book with lots of heart! I especially love stories that incorporate a great family dynamic. This book had it all. I was a little worried when I read the synopsis, which mentioned all of the brothers in the family wanted to be with the heroine and that there was some double-teaming going on. I have nothing against group sex, but not when it comes to an innocent girl wanting her crush to notice her. That just felt wrong. Fortunately, the double-teaming had nothing to do with the main characters. I didn't feel like the secondary romance was necessary, but that menage scene was pretty hot.

On to the main event! This is the story of Jaxi and Blake, two neighbors who pretty much grew up together. Well, actually Jaxi was the one growing up. Blake was seventeen and Jaxi was 7 when they first met. Blake had always been the big brother figure to little Jaxi, but all that changed when she turned sixteen. Suddenly Blake's feelings weren't so brotherly, so he avoided her. She was way too young for him! But Jaxi's dream had always been to be a rancher's wife and Blake was the rancher she wanted.

Now that Jaxi is 21 she plans to make Blake want her. All she has to do is convince him that their ten year age difference doesn't matter. Blake is afraid he will lose Jaxi, even as a friend, if they get involved. But he needs to get past his fear unless he wants to see one of his younger brothers steal her away for good.

Along with this delicious and steamy love story we get to meet Blake's five brothers. Each one has a story to tell and I look forward to reading them all.

As much as I loved the romance and the sex scenes, my favorite part was the bonus chapter that showed how they first met, when Blake thought Jaxi was a little boy. That was priceless!
